BioI'm 19. Currently living in North Dakota with my folks, trying to earn a few dollars.
I dropped out of college after my first year and got a Job, Studying isn't for me and I wasn't prepared to waste years of my life doing something that doesn't make me happy.
I work two jobs, as a receptionist in a hotel during the day and waitressing 3 nights of the week. If you see me don't forget to say Hi and leave a generous tip ;)
Traveling is what I want to do for the next few years and possibly beyond, first to Europe and then where ever the wind decides to take me. I'm working as much as I can to gather the funds for my trip. If I can't do this thing on my own then I won't do it at all.
I've grown a lot as a person in the last year and have to come to know what is truly important to me. Friends, family, love. I surround myself with good, decent people and learn as much as I can from them. Knowledge isn't only found in books. I believe there are lessons to be learned in everything I do.
I consider myself to be a creative person. I took up the piano at 4 and have been playing ever since, I hope to expand to other instruments. My biggest regret is not learning to read music when the opportunity was there.
Writing, however, is my main passion. Putting the stories and characters that float through my head onto paper is a joy for me. I try and share my work with others where ever possible and feedback is always welcome. I understand that criticism is necessary for any talent to grow.
I'm stubborn and strong minded. I say what I mean and am never afraid to speak my mind. I make no apologies for who I am, It is beyond my control.
Above all else I am honest, I've learnt the hard way that lies get you nowhere and only serve to cause misery and heartache to whom ever they touch. I have no time for small minded individuals. I shed my pessimistic mentality and look for the good in others, I have learned not to care about what those I hold no affection for think of me.
Most of all I laugh at life and try not to take things to seriously.
